Tucked away in the quiet of Hither Woods, The Laurel offers privacy with easy access to Montauk’s best. Just a half mile from the beach and a short drive to town, the house features four generously sized bedrooms and three full baths. The expansive 1,000-square-foot primary suite includes a private roof deck, perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets. An open kitchen and living area creates an easy flow for family time and entertaining. Walk, bike, or take a quick drive to Gurney’s, with ocean beaches and Montauk village moments away.
The home features a large open-format kitchen and living area with a dedicated dining space. Each bedroom offers direct outdoor access, enhancing the seamless indoor-outdoor feel throughout the house. A TV room sits just off the kitchen, separate from the expansive main entertainment room, which includes vaulted ceilings and a fireplace. Sliding glass doors open from nearly every room onto the backyard.
Outdoors, the pool area is anchored by a new bluestone patio with lounge seating and an outdoor dining table for 8–10 guests. The pool is open from Memorial Day through the end of September, and the yard is professionally treated every 30 days for ticks. Four beach cruiser bikes are available for guest use.
Occupancy is limited to a maximum of 8 adults, or 10 total guests.

We really like Montauk and the slightly different vibe from the rest of the Hamptons. More private and quiet. The house itself was very well-maintained. Large kitchen. Large and airy living room. Large deck next to the pool. Slightly longer walk to a public beach than expected. (20 minutes or so) but otherwise a great location and setting. Kate was very responsive to our questions.
Kate’s place was wonderful! Instructions were clear and the house was very nice.

Kate was the perfect host - the house was clean, had tons of space and had everything we needed to enjoy the week. The size of the master suite was incredible and the multiple patios came in handy for those of us that were working remotely. Kate has thought of everything - from the pool floats to the indoor/outdoor speakers to the bikes you can use to explore. Both the indoor and outdoor space were even better in person than we had hoped! The pictures do not do this place justice - the house is located in a private area with easy access to restaurants and bars. We can’t wait to come back!
